Our company started in 1997 based on the accumulated technique in the field of the fiber optics.
Korea Optron Corp. possesses the most advanced facilities and production lines to mass-produce fiber optic components such as Optical Jumper Cord, Optical Attenuator, Coupler/WDM, Fan-out Array, LD & PD Module, Optical Power Meter and Optical Light source etc.
Our plant is well equipped to ensure the fabrication of quality products in large volume. In addition, our employees are well technically trained, and totally practicing the Total Quality Process.
The quality system is certified to ISO 9001, TL 9000 and UL certification. Also acquired "Korea World-class product Award 2002" from Minister of Commerce, Industry and Energy Republic of Korea with Optical Attenuator on Oct 2002.
We have made the first stage with the fiber optic component. What's more we hold a patent of ferrule for attenuator and export this attenuator to Europe, U.S.A, East-south Asia, China, Russia and many other countries.
Now we are developing the technique-intensive goods like as Un-cooled LD Module, device for WDM, Dispersion Compensator, Isolator, Filter, Fiber Collimator, Variable Optical Attenuator applied MEMS technology which the first attempt in the Korea and these will be launched soon.
Lastly, we will take a step forward to the high value-added products as modules for Optical Transceiver, Optical Switch, Circulator, Fiber Grating, Optical Amplifier and etc. Innovation is one of our major goals.
In cooperation with K-JIST (Kwangju Institute of Science and Technology) we are one the R&D program. High-quality human resources enough to research and develop already joined us.
